The Defensores de Belgrano team has received a harsh sanction following the serious incidents that occurred recently, and they have been banned from playing in their stadium for at least three matches. The news was confirmed by the Secretary of Security of the City of Buenos Aires, Diego Kravetz, who described this measure as "the most important sanction in the history (of the City)".
On his social media, Kravetz stated: "We will not allow violence in football, much less allow anyone to touch a police officer from the City." These events occurred before the match against Mitre from Santiago del Estero, which eventually took place and ended in a goalless draw.
This sanction severely affects Defensores de Belgrano, as the team is qualified for the Reducido of the Primera Nacional and will not be able to play any of these decisive matches in their own stadium. Additionally, the installation of cameras and a monitoring center in the stadium has been mandated as part of the disciplinary measures.
Kravetz also announced that they will work in coordination with the Justice system to prosecute all those involved in these aggressive acts, emphatically declaring: "The impunity is over."
These events were triggered by a brawl between the club's supporters and members of the Police that left 14 officers injured, two of whom suffered fractures.
